Boyd and Melanie Collins took over the ownership of the long hop in 2007 and the pub has undergone some fantastic renovations, transforming once a tired village pub into a modern yet traditional establishment. And the good news doesn’t end there!

You have the choice of two bars; the fun and slightly quirky bar or the sports bar, both with unique features and glamorous undertones making it the perfect place for an early evening lounge or a late night dance at the weekend.

The restaurant is situated near the beer garden with the pleasant view of the famous Meopham Windmill. It is set out with cosy booths and you can get the chance to meet Maggie the parrot.

The beer garden offers a great place to relax in the summer and has a children’s play area to keep the little ones out of trouble. The garden offers heating, seating and a widescreen TV in the winter for the social smokers.
